SYNOPSIS: The Blade is an action drama, set during the English Civil War, about a Royalist Captain who is badly injured fleeing the aftermath of the Battle of Marston Moor. His only chance of returning to his wife, is to accept the help an orphaned girl , while evading a pursuing Roundhead seeking vengeance for the death of his brother.
