A new documentary entitled ‘Game Changer’ is now in production by Harker.Works. Funded by Leeds City Council’s Grow Fund, the film features Leeds cricket club Crossgates CC and will tell the story of their transformation, from a predominently white club on the brink of folding only a few years ago, into a diverse and vibrant club now winning trophies and whose teams now blend white, working class locals, British born Indians and recent immigrants from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
The film will be made in partnership with Oakwood Film Academy, a not for profit community group whose membership make narrative and documentary films in the city of Leeds and beyond.
